I would recommend Covered Wagon Campground to anyone that is traveling through the area! We booked a one month (August 2017) stay at Covered Wagon so we could spend some time with our son who is stationed at Ft. Riley. Covered Wagon is a very nice campground. It is reasonably priced. The bathhouse, laundry facility, pool and horseshoe pit are very clean and nice amenities. There are plenty of places to walk your pets. Covered Wagon campground is very close to a lot of local history. There is plenty to do outside the campground as well as in the campground. The owner (KC) is extremely friendly and professional. Most of the campers are very friendly, we have made friends with several campers. Due to Hurricane IRMA we have renewed our stay for another month.
